Young Scientist and Scholars Training

More than 60 young faculty members from over 15 different universities and research institutions have received training as visiting scholars within the Faculty of Forestry. All visiting scholars have been offered opportunities to improve their professional English communication skills, experience North American styles of teaching, and work in collaboration with leading professors in their field to conduct research and publish papers. After training, young faculty members have become leaders in promoting educational reform and capacity building at our partner universities. Meanwhile, our professors have also improved their understanding of research and education in China, which has enhanced the internationalization and diversity of forestry and conservation research within the Faculty.
